Tasty Earrings

29 Aug

So. I’ve been busy. I have started making earrings, and now I need your feedback. What is good, what is bad, which one do you like the most, and what other things should I make? These are the things I would like to know 🙂 I try to give you an impression of their scale in the pictures, but they are mostly about 1,5 cm, not including the hanger. They are all made of hardened clay, often called Fimo.

First off is the icecream! Yumyum!

Now for the ‘School bread’

So what do you think? Does it look better without the grated coconut?

Lemon cupcakes are up:

Icecream!

Group-photo!

Cake and pie:

Cookies for a cookiemonster!

Lastly, the doughnut 🙂

So, that was alot of pictures.. Please tell me what you think. This is my repertoir for now, and I have some more ideas, but do tell me if you have any ideas what might be cool to hang from your ear!

Who’s your Daddy?

So, my friend asked me to make a Dart Vader fimo figure she could hang from the mirror in her car. I was up for it.

I also made a little cosplay sidekick-version of him:

Genie

14 Aug

I made Genie as a big poster for a bachelorette party. It’s about 1 meter tall and made from colored cardboard. I made it by finding a picture I liked form the internet and printing it on a transparent sheet (the ones used for overheads). I would have posted the link to the original picture, but I can’t seem to find it. It was really just a sketch made by a talented drawer. Next I found a huge piece of blue cardboard and taped it to a wall. I used an overhead to shine the picture upon the cardboard and started drawing Genie with a fat permanent black marker. After going over the lines twice, I took it down and cut him out. To make the details, as the teeth, eyes, tongue, bracelets, etc, I taped up bits of the cardboard in the colors I wanted, overhead still running. Then I drew the bits and pieces, cut them out and glued them onto the ‘all blue’ Genie. Voilà!

Oh. My. God.
